When I boot and rally without anyone knowing

I say to myself

When my friend tells me she’s going to stop eating sweets

I look at her like

When every professor decides to make assignments due the same week

When I black out and do something stupid

All I can say is

When my boyfriend doesn’t want to cuddle anymore

When I put on real clothes after wearing only sweats for weeks

When I’m dancing in my house and someone walks by

When the professor asks if we did the reading

Everyone nods like

When some weird guy is lingering by my room trying to come inside

When I walk into a party
